We use postal services to send our important documents and mails. We place proper stamp(s), destination address, and recipient’s name on the envelope of the mail or package. But is it important to write the return address on the mail item?
That’s the question most of us want to know. So, let’s find out its answer:
“Most of the foreign postal administrations want you to add your full return address on the mail item along with your ZIP code or street number. You can put your return address on the upper left corner of the envelope. You may write it in Arabic or Roman letters. It’s because in case your mail item is undelivered due to any reason, then your item will be returned back to your own address.
You should write the return address in such a manner that it doesn’t affect the clarity of the destination address or anything else written or attached on the envelope.”
